Hard Reset
Force restart your Samsung — no data lost
A hard reset (also called a force restart) clears the temporary memory and restarts the Samsung without erasing any data. On most Galaxy phones: hold Power + Volume Down for 10 seconds until the screen goes black and the Samsung logo appears. Always try this first for a frozen, unresponsive, or sluggish Samsung before attempting any other fix.
Hard Reset vs Factory Reset
Hard Reset
Force restart only. No data erased. Safe to try first.
Factory Reset
Wipes everything. Only use as a last resort.
